GASPAC's mission is to advance the medical specialty of anesthesiology through bipartisan support of existing and aspiring California elected officials who demonstrate their commitment to patient safety and physician-led quality of care. Founded in 1976, GASPAC provides political support for CSA advocacy efforts and helps our members participate in the political process.
Donations to GASPAC are investments in your profession, your specialty and your ability to provide quality physician-led patient care. All members are strongly encouraged to contribute to GASPAC. The recommended individual contribution level is at least $300. For physician groups with more than 10 members, the recommended donation level is $6,800.

The CSA Legal Defense Fund provides funding for court challenges on issues that affect the anesthesiologists and their patients. To support and protect the future of the specialty, all members are strongly encouraged to make at least a minimum $195 annual contribution to the Legal Defense Fund.
